KSP HQ (lol…) has been in shipping mode now for a while with copies of Climbing 2012 hitting the mail sacks daily. However, and in a rare moment of reflection, I did notice a howling gaff in the Bandits at Dinbren article posted on-line on my website…

I’d drafted the Bandits article a while back whilst away on a walking trip in the Lakes and then I posted it on-line some time later as the calendars started shipping. I spotted the howler reading it again at the weekend…

So without further a-do, and in traditional style, the three runners up are Tom Dick and Harry and the winner, and hence the name in the frame for Climbing:2012, is (cue drum roll....) Craig Bailey…

Yep, a proper howler! Tom, Dick and Harry clearly weren’t the runners-up at all, they’d been names I’d dropped into the text whilst I was drafting it and then never changed them before the article went live – doh!!

So here’s the revised text and what it should have said…

So without further a-do, and in traditional style, the three runners up are Laura Hudson, Ian Robinson and Jesamine Bartlett and the winner, and hence the name in the frame for Climbing:2012, (cue drum roll....) is Craig Bailey…

My sincere apologies to Laura, Ian and Jesamine for the gaff. Hopefully, Postman Pat willing, you should have your complementary copies by now and be scribbling down your must-do activities for 2012…
