OK time to fess-up – I’ve not being keep up to date with the blog and the blog admin recently – sorry!
Truth be told, during my spare time (ha ha…) I’ve been focusing (no intended pun…) on getting the calendar sorted plus a wee building project or three that’s going on at Chez Sharples where there are now no less that three rooms out of action.
Firstly, the calendar is now shipping so that’s cracked that issue. Secondly, the building works are coming on fine – thank you. I, and some young guns – thank you guys – completely stripped out a bedroom last week ahead of the refurbishments. Anyone who has knocked back a room back to brick and ceiling joists will know, it’s not clean work!
Hopefully, I’ve sorted the blog out too. You may of noticed that my blog was getting hammered with spam robots in the dead of the night; literally hundreds of comments about watches and designer kit etc. were being added. I’m keen to enable comments to come through – the ‘King Wad’ blog entry proving the point that folks like to comment. However, to stop the spam robots I’ve changed the blog security by checking that all comment and trackbacks should be subject to moderation before going live on the blog. Hopefully this will prove successful and not too demanding to manage…
