Now that the 9th day of the 9th month of the 2009 has passed without the merest hint of an apocalyptical horseman and all the doomsayers are having a two-week summer vacation, it’s obviously time to get on with life and back into the business of blogging ...

You’ll have noticed that blog posts have been thin on the ground since mid August – well I’ve been driving down the East Coast of the USA on a road trip. The name of the game was to check-out the East Coast, catch up with some old friends, get up close to some Blue Ridge Bouldering and spend a few days with Micky and Minnie. It was a hot trip, never less than 75-80degs, involving a good few miles, the odd alligator or two, a 660 miles round trip for the aforementioned bouldering and then a ton of kiddie stuff down in Florida.

I’ve not even started yet on the 20+ gb worth of images I came  back with but when I do I’ll be pulling a gallery of images and some text together to share with you from the trip.

Meanwhile, here’s a few random shots from the trip...
